People have tried to combine the advantages of rural and urban life since ancient times. Is it right to consider garden cities as providing optimal conditions for a sustainable and future-oriented development in interface locations within proximity to cities and the countryside at the same time? Which topics should be considered in this context and which strategies should landscape architecture pursue in order to make the development of garden cities future-proof? Could shrinking regions benefit in urban development from such an attractive location factor as "high quality of life" and "sustainable living"?
From various professional and cultural perspectives the bilingual conference "City.County.Life" aims to discuss ecologically and socially motivated planning approaches already conceived in modern times, to connect them with current challenges and to further develop them for the future.

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
