Together with the Senate Chancellery Hamburg the GIGA cordially invites you to attend the moderated panel discussion “India and Germany: Shared Values, Different Perspectives?”. The event is part of India Week Hamburg 2019 and will take place on 28 October at Hamburg City Hall.
The panel will focus on the evolving bilateral relationship of India and Germany, and the roles both play globally amidst the challenges that multilateralism faces today. Our experts will address the values that these two leading democracies share, and also the points of difference between them that have limited the scope of their cooperation thus far. They will suggest future courses of action on current and potentially overlapping agendas.
