We are excited to inform you about our keynote speakers:
• Keynote on “Digital Europe” by Eddy Hartog, Head of Unit Technologies for Smart Communities, DG CONNECT, European Commission
• Keynote on “Connect Smart Cities: Networking & digital city development” by Federica Bordelot, Eurocities
The Panel discussion: Let‘s talk: Status Quo and future ambitions will give you insights in European and German smart city initiatives and networks. Learn how European and German smart city initiatives support municipalities in their challenges with digitalisation, the digital single market and urban development. Meet representatives from the cities Sonderborg and Leipzig, the European Initiative Smart Cities Marketplace and the German Coordination and Transfer Office Smart Cities (KTS).
The event is organised by the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community and the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development.
