Education with a focus on translational cancer research is still an unmet need. Therefore, this CCE educational event will cover translational cancer research topics for young, ambitious researchers with a medical and/or scientific background at different stages of their careers. The Summer School is open to participants from all over the world. During this one-week course, we will offer workshops and talks by renowned speakers from different disciplines of the entire cancer research continuum, with a special focus on personalized cancer medicine. The Summer School is designed to facilitate interaction between participants coming from both preclinical laboratories as well as clinical centers. We aim at stimulating interactions for multidisciplinary collaborations at an international level. Participants will be given the opportunity to present their research projects and data by oral or poster presentations.
The course is hosted by CCE and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), organized by the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg, and supported by the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK) as well as others. Please do not hesitate to contact us at summerschool@nct-heidelberg.de for further questions or comments.
