Vortrag: „One, No One and One Hundred Thousand: Diversity against Uniformity in the Arabic Language in the Eyes of al-Suyuti (d. 1505)”

Diversität gegen Gleichförmigkeit in der arabischen Sprache – damit startet am Donnerstag, 19. Mai, um 18:15 Uhr die Vorlesungsreihe am Bamberger Schillerplatz 17, Raum 00.13. Im Rahmen einer internationalen Diversity-Gastprofessur spricht Prof. Dr. Antonella Ghersetti von der Ca' Foscari Universität Venedig. Ihr Vortrag hat den Titel: „One, No One and One Hundred Thousand: Diversity against Uniformity in the Arabic Language in the Eyes of al-Suyuti (d. 1505)” Auf Deutsch: „Einer, keiner und Einhunderttausend: Diversität gegen Gleichförmigkeit in der arabischen Sprache aus der Perspektive von al-Suyuti (d. 1505)”. Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti war einer der bekanntesten ägyptischen Gelehrten des 15. Jahrhunderts, dessen Erkenntnisse zur Sprachgeschichte des Arabischen erst vor einigen Jahren in den Fokus der Forschung gerückt sind.
