In recent years, the meeting has shifted its original focus from muscle, intermediate filaments and the extracellular matrix to take a broader view of fibrous and other repeat proteins, including aspects of engineering and design. The format of the meetings is very informal, with talks in the morning and in the evening.
This workshop will be held in person.

How to register and submit an abstract
Each participant must register online via the Alpbach Workshop 2022 conference management system and follow the registration procedure indicated online. Online registration includes a page for abstract submission. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, August 5th. If you would like your abstract to be considered for an oral presentation, please indicate it in the Remarks field of the submission page. Speakers will be selected through August and notified at the latest by Friday, August 26th.
Travel awards for students and postdocs
Generate Biomedicines of Somerville MA is generously sponsoring travel awards for students and postdocs. Each award contributes 300€ towards hotel costs at the meeting. Applicants should submit their CV and a statement of research interests in PDF format. Applications can be submitted at registration or by returning to the registration pages at any time thereafter. Deadline for applications is Sunday, July 31st. Winners will be notified by e-mail in the first week of August.
