Chad Wackerman weltweit bekannt als Jazz & Rock Drummer, Komponist und Bandleader. Seinen Durchbruch als Profi-Musiker hatte er 1978 mit der Bill Watrous Band. Seitdem verfolgt er eine bemerkenswerte Karriere. Er ist unter anderem bekannt durch seine siebenjährige Zusammenarbeit mit Frank Zappa, mit dem er durch die USA und Europa tourte und 29 Alben aufnahm, inklusive den bekannten London Symphony Orchestra Recordings.
Wackerman war an unzähligen Konzerttourneen und Studio Recordings mit den unterschiedlichsten Artists beteiligt. Darunter die Gitarrenlegende Allan Holdsworth und Welt-Star Barbra Streisand sowie Steve Vai, Andy Summers, Men at Work, Ed Mann, Albert Lee, Colin Hay, Banned from Utopia, Dweezil Zappa, Terry Bozzio, Robbie Krieger, James Taylor, Steven Wilson, Jane Getter, John Patitucci, Mike Miller, Joe Sample und das World Drummers Ensemble.
