Presentation of three cases:
Scientific station of Brazil in Antarctica (2013-2020): The winning project of an international design competition for Brazil's Comandante Ferraz scientific station, which received proposals from architects from all parts of the world. The building design received attention from specialized and prominent media outlets, besides architecture prizes worldwide. ‘The Coolest Architecture on Earth Is in Antarctica’ (NY Times).

Headquarters, educational, and cultural facilities for the Rio Grande do Sul State Trade Federation - Fecomércio-RS (2011-2020): The proposed design won a national competition with a new way of interpreting the relationship between the rural environment and the city, between natural and artificial.

Laguna Gallery (2017-2020): The first building in the world to achieve a triple-digit level in the world-class certification Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design - LEED Platinum.

The lecture is part of the WiSe 22/23 course ‘QS-B-001-008 BIM = Building is Magic?’, conceptualized and conducted by the HCU Hamburg Digital City Science, led by Prof. Dr. Noennig, and the team members Ms.C. Cserpes, Ms.C. Gaidhankar, and Dr. Medeiros. The HCU BIM Lab is an initiative by professors Bögle, Mondino, Noennig, and Sternberg.
The architects, urban designers, and founding partners of Estúdio41 are Prof. Dr. Emerson Vidigal, Eron Costin, Fabio Henrique Faria, João Gabriel Rosa, and Martin Kaufer Goic.
