Mit dem Innovationswettbewerb „Gesünder.IN.NRW“ zielt die Landesregierung NRW auf die Förderung von innovativen Lösungen in den wissens- und forschungsintensiven Themenfeldern der Medizin, der Medizintechnik, der Lebenswissenschaften, der Ernährungswissenschaften und der Pharmazie ab. Die Innovationen sollen als Treiber für eine moderne klima-, umwelt-, und ressourcenschonende Gesundheitsversorgung und Gesundheitswirtschaft in NRW dienen.
