Der ICSID Congress findet zum ersten Mal in seiner Geschichte in Deutschland statt. Die Educational Conference "Critical Motivations and New Dimensions" an der Fachhochschule Hannover (FHH) ist nach Seognam (Korea) die zweite Design Educational Conference. Die Konferenz bietet eine Plattform für eine inhaltliche Auseinandersetzung mit der Design-Ausbildung und wie diese in Zukunft gestaltet werden kann.
