Das Untersuchungsspektrum reicht von ökonomisch motivierten (Konkurrenz-) Konstellationen über populistische Vereinnahmungen ländlicher Traditionen als Orte des Konservativ-Bewahrenden zu (rechts-)politischen Narrativen im Zusammenhang mit Kulturerbe. Die Tagung wird von der Juniorprofessur für Europäische Ethnologie mit dem Schwerpunkt immaterielles Kulturerbe unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Barbara Wittmann organisiert.
