Grand Opening Symposium – Scientific symposium celebrating the opening of the Max-Planck-Zent

We will celebrate the opening of the new research building of Max Planck Zentrum für Physik und Medizin (MPZPM) on 18 and 19 September 2024 with a distinguished scientific symposium – the GRAND OPENING SYMPOSIUM. Renowned international speakers from the scientific fields of physics, medicine and biology will give keynote and cutting-edge insights into their latest studies, highlighting the extraordinary potential of the MPZPM.

The MPZPM is an interdisciplinary, joint research center of the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and the Universitätsklinikum Erlangen. The research at MPZPM focuses on the study of cells in the context of their microenvironment, the space that connects and encompasses a variety of cell types in a tissue. The overall purpose is to gain a fundamental understanding of living systems, biological processes and their pathological changes and to translate these into therapeutic applications.

At the Max Planck Zentrum für Physik und Medizin (MPZPM), scientists specializing in physics, medicine and biology will be working together under one roof starting in September to research fundamental questions in medicine from a completely new mathematical-physical perspective.

We will celebrate the opening of the new research building on 18 and 19 September 2024 with a distinguished scientific symposium – the GRAND OPENING SYMPOSIUM.

Search / advanced search of the idw archives
Combination of search terms

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.

Brackets

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).

Phrases

Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.

Selection criteria

You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).

If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
