Drei Tage nach der Europawahl, am 12. Juni 2024, veranstaltet das Interdisciplinary Centre for European Studies (ICES) an der Europa-Universität Flensburg (EUF) eine Podiumsdiskussion mit der Politologin Luise Quaritsch (Jacques Delors Centre, Berlin), Prof. Dr. Arndt Wonka (Universität Bremen, Professur für europabezogene Politik- und Sozialwissenschaften), der Rechtswissenschaftlerin Prof. Dr. Anna Katharina Mangold (EUF) und Prof. Dr. Uwe Puetter (EUF, Professur für Europäische Integration und Europäische Politik).
Mit Blick auf die Ergebnisse der Europawahl diskutiert das Podium erste Eindrücke ebenso wie die Konsequenzen für die politische Landschaft und das aktuelle Ansehen des Europäischen Parlaments. Die Moderation übernehmen der Politikwissenschaftler Dr. Stefan Wallaschek und der Soziologe Dr. Vincent Gengnagel vom ICES. Beide sind Young Academy Fellows der Akademie der Wissenschaften in Hamburg.
