Ein zentrales Thema der Veranstaltung wird das wertorientierte Risiko-Management für mittelständische Unternehmen sein. Hier geht es zum Beispiel darum zu erkennen, welche Unternehmenswerte essentiell sind und wer sie bekommen oder zerstören will. Daraus abgeleitet ergeben sich Konzepte zur Organisations-, IT- und physischen Sicherheit. Weitere Unterthemen sind die Vertrauenswürdigkeit von Dienstleistern sowie die Stabilität der Energienetze.
