The upcoming 8th 3D Cell Culture conference will focus on the application areas of functional precision medicine and address the following questions: How can 3D cell culture technologies help improve patient outcomes in the treatment of serious diseases? Which models are currently being tested, implemented, improved? What are the potentials of organoids, cellular aggregates and microphysiological systems (MPS), where are the current limitations?
In addition to the broad areas of application in cancer, complex gastrointestinal diseases such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis will be the focus of attention. Furthermore, the use of three-dimensional cell culture models in metabolic diseases such as diabetes or cystic fibrosis will be discussed. Finally, we would like to explore the potential of organoids and MPS in the research and treatment of allergies and wound healing disorders. Interesting topic is also neurodegenerative disease and current status of blood brain barrier models.
At this single-track conference, you will have numerous opportunities to discuss the latest developments in 3D cell culture in depth with international experts. Various lecture and discussion formats, including pitch presentations and a poster party, will ensure many opportunities for exchange and networking. An extensive company exhibition completes the conference program.
