The meeting covers the complete range of topics related to bioprocess engineering, including novel bioprocesses and pathways, process innovation in upstream and downstream bioprocessing, modeling & simulation, enzyme and whole-cell catalysis as well as bioprocess solutions to achieve sustainable development goals.
This single-strand conference gives all researchers the opportunity to showcase their work through talks, poster pitches, and intensive poster presentations offering fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to the bioprocess engineering community.
This year, for the first time, there will be 3-minutes poster pitches in order to give young researchers the opportunity to gain their first stage experience or to present projects that have just been started.
Major Topics will be:
Scaling in Up- and Downstream Bioprocesses
Bioprocess Automation and Control
Bioprocess Engineering in Food Sciences
Bioprocesses using Non-Platform Organisms
Metabolic Engineering meets Biochemical Engineering
Open Topic (young researchers are encouraged to present their new, unfinished, recently started or planned work)

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
