The Future Leaders Forum will offer early career researchers a platform to present their research and future innovative and groundbreaking ideas. Participants will have the opportunity to network with top researchers working in Heidelberg who could become their future academic supervisors or colleagues. The forum gives young researchers the opportunity to showcase their groundbreaking ideas; they will receive hands-on support from the Heidelberg Research Service to apply for prestigious postdoctoral funding programs like the Emmy Noether Program of the German Research Foundation, ERC Starting Grants of the European Research Council, and other programs.
On day one, participants will have the opportunity to present their research and discuss it with researchers from Heidelberg University. On day two, they will have the chance to explore Heidelberg University’s facilities and to learn more about it.
Das Future Leaders Forum bietet Nachwuchswissenschaftler:innen eine Plattform, um ihre Forschung zu präsentieren. Die Teilnehmer:innen erhalten die Gelegenheit, sich mit führenden Wissenschaftler:innen in Heidelberg zu vernetzen – als potenzielle zukünftige akademische Betreuer:innen oder Kolleg:innen. Das Forum ermöglicht es Forscher:innen in frühen Karrierestufen, ihre zukunftsweisenden Ideen vorzustellen; sie erhalten praxisnahe Unterstützung vom Heidelberg Research Service der Universität Heidelberg, um sich für renommierte Förderprogramme für Postdoktorand:innen wie das Emmy Noether-Programm der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft, ERC Starting Grants des Europäischen Forschungsrates und weitere Programme zu bewerben.
Am ersten Tag haben die Teilnehmer:innen die Gelegenheit, ihre Forschung zu präsentieren und mit Wissenschaftler:innen der Universität Heidelberg zu diskutieren. Am zweiten Tag besteht die Möglichkeit, Einrichtungen der Universität Heidelberg kennenzulernen und sich ein besseres Bild von der Universität zu machen.
