RNA molecules are considered next-generation therapeutics and hold great potential – far beyond the applications already known from mRNA vaccines. In addition to mRNA-based approaches, antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) have long entered clinical use.
The international symposium RNA-Based Therapeutics 2025 will provide an up-to-date overview of the current state of research. Topics will range from innovative RNA manufacturing strategies to precise and efficient delivery approaches, including modern delivery systems such as nanoparticles.
Planned focus areas include:
• RNA targets in inflammation and fibrosis
• New drug classes
• Fraunhofer innovations and industry perspectives
The program will feature keynote lectures, a poster session, and a rapid-fire session for early-career researchers, in which selected poster authors will present their work in short talks. Abstracts for poster presentations can be submitted until 15 August 2025. The event is aimed at experts and early-career researchers interested in learning about and discussing current developments and future perspectives in RNA therapeutics.
