BioINSP 2026 offers a focused scientific program designed for intensive exchange. In a single-track format, experimental and theoretical perspectives merge across topics such as hierarchical material architectures, adaptive and autonomous functions, biomineralization-inspired strategies, biohybrid systems, and sustainability-driven materials development. Plenary lectures by leading scientists will set the tone, complemented by invited talks, contributed presentations, and interactive poster sessions. The hybrid setup enables broad participation while maintaining a concentrated and collaborative on-site atmosphere.
Researchers are invited to submit original contributions that advance the understanding and design of bioinspired materials and systems. Poster submissions are particularly encouraged, providing a platform for new ideas, early results, and interdisciplinary approaches. Abstract submission is open until 19 February 2026: https://dgm.de/bioinsp/2026/submission/submit-your-abstract

You can combine search terms with and, or and/or not, e.g. Philo not logy.
You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
