Am 14. Mai 2004 veranstalten die Universität Kiel und der Allgemeine Studie-rendenausschuss (AStA) gemeinsam die zweite "Night of the Profs" im Audi-max, Christian-Albrechts-Platz 2. Von 19 bis 2 Uhr nachts werden über 50 Vor-lesungen von Kieler Professorinnen und Professoren gehalten. In dem ab-wechslungsreichen Vortragsprogramm ist für jeden etwas dabei. Der Eintritt zur "Night of the Profs" ist kostenfrei, alle Interessierten sind eingeladen.
Was im letzten Jahr als Protestaktion der Universität gegen die Unterfinanzie-rung begann, wird in diesem Jahr auf vielfachen Wunsch und wegen des gro-ßen Zuspruchs wiederholt: Die "Night of the Profs" findet 2004 an einem Freitag statt, um möglichst vielen die Teilnahme zu ermöglichen. Die vielfältige The-menpalette reicht von Vorträgen wie "Wird Gewalt normal?" über "Worüber la-chen wir eigentlich?" bis zur "Biographie des Krebses".
