Um den aktuellen Stand der NanoBio-Forschung an den nordrhein-westfälischen Universitäten, Fachhochschulen und Forschungszentren zu dokumentieren, organisiert das Münsteraner CeNTech im Auftrag des Ministeriums für Wissenschaft und Forschung des Landes NRW am 3. Juni 2004 den Workshop "NanoBio NRW - Profile und Projekte".

Als besonderes Highlight für die Öffentlichkeit wird der Nano-Truck vor Ort sein, der das vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung und der Initiative "Wissenschaft im Dialog" ins Leben gerufene "Jahr der Technik 2004" begleitet. Der 28-Tonner verfügt über eine umfangreiche Ausstellung aus Postern und Exponaten zu den Grundlagen, Anwendungsbereichen und Perspektiven der Nanotechnologie.
