Die Veranstaltung bietet Entwicklern die Möglichkeit, neueste Arbeiten vorzustellen. Nutzern bietet sich die Gelegenheit, Kenntnisse über TeX zu vertiefen und aufzufrischen. Während der Tagung wird den Teilnehmern die Möglichkeit gegeben, auf mitgebrachten Rechnern eine kostenlose Kopie der freien Software unter Anleitung von Experten zu installieren.
