Die dvs-Sektion "Sportinformatik" führt ihre 5. Tagung vom 15.-17. September in Köln durch. Mit ihr wird erstmals die internationale Veranstaltungsreihe "IT and Sport" zusammen mit der IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing) und der GI (Gesellschaft für Informatik) ausgerichtet. Die Veranstaltung soll einen wissenschaftlichen Austausch mit internationalen Informatikern ermöglichen und so neue Impulse für künftige Forschungsprojekte geben.
