Der Workshop beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, wie die Länder Afrikas der Abhängigkeit vom Export einiger weniger Rohstoffe entkommen können. Dabei geht es auch um den Zusammenhang zwischen dem Reichtum an natürlichen Ressourcen und der Anfälligkeit für Krisen. Ziel des Workshops ist die Entwicklung konkreter Politikempfehlungen.
