Who should take this course?
Research, development and manufacturing personnel who have a current or anticipated need for a thorough knowledge of adhesion science and technology.
What are you taught?
After completing this course, you should, among others, be able to:
- Select the right surface cleaning technique
- Utilize the concept of acid-base interactions in improving adhesion
- Analyze the alternatives and select the optimum technique for improving adhesion, and, hopefully, the durability
- Select the appropriate adhesion measurement technique
- Know what are the latest developments and where to look for more information
You may discuss your problems related to surface chemistry and adhesion also with scientists at the IPF and have a look at the Institute's laboratories.
Information on participating / attending:
Fee: EUR 575 (including lecture notes, lunches, coffee)
PLeased register as soon as possible, but at the latest by April 15, 2005.
(The course would have to be cancelled in case of less than 10 registrations by that date.)
