More and more nanomedical products are pushing towards the markets. They will find use in various fields such as cancer therapy, drug delivery, and dentistry, as diagnostic tools or as substitutes for bone and tissue.
The NanoMed workshop series has developed into one of Europe's leading events in the field of nanomdedicine. It has become a popular meeting of scientists involved in application-oriented nanomedical research, physicians, entrepreneurs, investors, and patent attorneys.
The NanoMed 2006 - 5th International Workshop on Biomedical Applications of Nanotechnology will take place in Berlin on February 16-17. The panel of speakers includes 30 renowned nanomedicine experts representing 17 nations from four continents. Another 40 contributions will be featured at the poster show. Technology companies and research networks are going to present their products and services at the accompanying exhibition.
Moreover, the NanoMed 2006 is held in conjunction with a Business Day of the European Network of Excellence Nano2 Life http://www.nano2life.org.
