Anlässlich der Verleihung des Ernst Schering Preises an Thomas Tuschl findet am 22. September ein 1-tägiges Symposium zum Thema RNA intereference statt. Bedeutende Wissenschaftler dieses Gebietes Ronald Plasterk (Utrecht), Witold Filipowicz (Basel), Stephen Cohen (EMBL Heidelberg), Thomas Meyer (Berlin), Hans-Peter Vornlocher (Kulmbach) und Victor Ambros (Darmouth Medical School, USA) werden anwesend sein und neueste Daten aus dem spannenden und innovativen Forschungsfeld der RNA Interferenz und Micro RNAs vorstellen.
Mit ihren wissenschaftlichen Symposien will die Schering Stiftung der Science Community einen intensiven Austausch von Informationen, Erfahrungen und Wissen im Bereich der Biomedizin ermöglichen und ein Forum bieten für einen Dialog zwischen Wissenschaftlern im Bereich von Hochschule, Forschungsinstituten, Industrie und internationalen Forschungsorganisationen.
