Das Kolloquium, das im Rahmen des Jubiläums zum 550jährigen Bestehen der Universität Greifswald stattfindet, ist dem 125. Geburtstag des Greifswalder Philosophen Günther Jacoby gewidmet. In sechs Vortrgäen werden Leben und Werk Jacobys dargestellt und gewürdigt. Im Mittelpunkt des Kolloquiums werden Jacobys philosophisches Hauptwerk, die "Allgemeine Ontologie der Wirklichkeit" und ihre Bedeutung für Philosophie und Mathematik stehen sowie Beziehungen von Jacobys Werk zu dem des Logikers und Philosophen Bruno Baron von Freytag Löringhoff und zu Ideen des Theologen Paul Tillich. Zu den Vorträgen und zur anschließenden Diskussion sind Gäste herzlich willkommen.
