Die Jahrestagung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Epidemiologie und der 10. Geburtstag der Studie "Leben und Gesundheit in Vorpommern" werden als Anlass für eine Veranstaltung genutzt, die die hiesige Bevölkerung über neueste Erkenntnisse aus dem Forschungsschwerpunkt Community Medicine unterrichten möchte. Die beiden Vorträge werden umrahmt durch umfangreiche Untersuchungsangebote. Wer möchte, kann sich den Blutdruck messen lassen. Auch Ultraschall der Schilddrüse und der Halsgefäße werden angeboten.
