Es werden Hinweise für die Auswahl des geeigneten Verfahrens für Texterfassung und Codierung gegeben - manuelle und computergestützte.
Grundkenntnisse der Inhaltsanalyse werden vermittelt, statistische Auswertungswertungsprogramme wie SPSS werden nur am Rand behandelt. Vorkenntnisse werden nicht vorausgesetzt.
Es sind praktische Übungen an konkreten Beispielen vorgesehen.
