Gibt es in Deutschland eine Kultur der Selbständigkeit? Werden im Vergleich zu anderen Ländern viele oder wenige Unternehmen gegründet? Und verfügen die neu gegründeten Unternehmen über das Potenzial, Deutschland aus der wirtschaftlichen Krise zu helfen?
Antworten auf diese Fragen gibt der Länderbericht Deutschland 2005 zum Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), der vom Institut für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung (IAB) und der Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) vorgestellt wird. Es sprechen Dr. Ulrich Walwei, Vizedirektor des IAB, Prof. Rolf Sternberg, Universität Hannover, Leiter von GEM-Deutschland, und Dr. Norbert Irsch, Chefvolkswirt der KfW. Im Anschluss ist ein Pressegespräch geplant.
