Diese Programmiersprachen kommen beim methodischen Entwurf integrierter Schaltungen und eingebetteter Systeme zum Einsatz. Die FDL-Konferenz wird in diesem Jahr zum neunten Mal veranstaltet.
Die Beiträge zur Tagung gehören zu den Bereichen "Formalisms for property-driven design", "C/C++ based system design", "Analog, mixed-signal, and heterogenous system design" und "UML based system specification and design". Den Teilnehmern werden Tutorien, Fachgruppentreffen und eingeladene Vorträge angeboten.
