Für die Zuhörer wird der Stand der Technik dieser leistungsfähigen Modellierungsplattform erläutert und eine Einführung in die Konzepte und Funktionsweisen von SystemC gegeben. Darauf aufbauend werden sowohl typische Probleme bei der Adaption von SystemC im industriellen Einsatz beschrieben, als auch besonders lohnenswerte Einsatzgebiete von SystemC herausgestellt. Dabei wird auch auf aktuelle Konzepte wie Transaction-Level-Modelling (TLM) und Executable Specs eingegangen.
