Über die Auswirkungen der überarbeiteten Rahmenrichtlinie auf die industrielle Abfallentsor-gung berichtet Prof. Dr. W. Klett von Köhler & Klett Rechtsanwälte in Köln. Die Neuordnung der Abfallhierarchien ist Thema des Vortrags von Dr. M. Engler vom Regierungspräsidium Darmstadt, Abt. Arbeitsschutz und Umwelt, Wiesbaden. Dr. H. Itzel von der Merck KGaA in Darmstadt berichtet über die Auswirkung auf die Entsorgung aus Sicht der chemischen Indu-strie. Die Auswirkungen der EU-Abfallrichtlinie aus der Sicht des europäischen Entsorgerver-bandes EURITS beleuchtet Dr. H. Suchomel von der Hessischen Industriemüll GmbH in Bie-besheim. Über Pro und Contra bei der Einstufung von MVA's als Verwertungsanlagen mittels Effizienzkriterien informiert Dipl.-Ing. Th. Obermeier von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Ab-fallwirtschaft e.V. in Berlin. Dr. M. Engler vom Regierungspräsidium Darmstadt, Abt. Umwelt, Wiesbaden, moderiert die Veranstaltung.
