Zum Thema Energieressource Abfall: Potentiale und technische Optionen im Lichte der EU-Richtlinien informiert Dipl.-Ing. M. Gleis vom Umweltbundesamt in Dessau. Die Technik in Ersatzbrennstoffkraftwerken behandelt Prof. Dr.-Ing. B. Neukirchen, Essen / Universität Dort-mund. Über Ersatzbrennstoffe für den Kraftwerkseinsatz berichten Prof. Dr.-Ing. H. Seifert vom Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe und Universität Stuttgart und Prof. Dr.-Ing. M. Beckmann von der Bauhaus-Universität in Weimar. Den Beitrag zur optimalen Energieversorgung eines Indu-striestandortes durch Verwendung von Abfallbrennstoffen beleuchtet Dipl.-Ing. P. Ludwig von InfraServ Höchst KG im Industriepark Höchst, Frankfurt am Main. Dr. H. Friedmann von der Agraferm Technologies AG in Pfaffenhofen berichtet über die Potentiale anaerober Technolo-gien zur Verwertung biologischer/- organischer Industrie- und Gewerbeabfälle und Biomüll. Eine Standortbestimmung zu "Thermischen Verfahren zur Konversion von Biomassen: Wo stehen wir zu Beginn des Jahres 2008?" gibt Prof. Dr.-Ing. Th. Kolb, Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe und Universität Karlsruhe. Die Veranstaltung moderiert Prof. Dr.-Ing. H. Seifert vom Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe und Universität Stuttgart.
