Wissenschaftliches Symposium von Jura-Professoren der UdS und der Keio Universität Tokio

Von Sonntag, dem 16. Dezember 2007 bis Samstag, dem 22. Dezember 2007 finden an der Universität des Saarlandes die so genannten Keio Tage 2007 statt. Unter dem Titel "Interkultureller Rechtsvergleich in der juristischen Methoden- und Begründungslehre" treffen sich nun schon zum fünften Mal Professoren der Keio Universität Tokio und Professoren der Universität des Saarlandes zu einem solchen Symposium. Die Veranstaltung findet alle zwei Jahre abwechselnd an der Keio Universität und an der UdS statt.

Die Professoren aus Tokio erwartet an der Universität des Saarlandes ein interessantes Programm: Von Dienstag bis Freitag gibt es zahlreiche Vorträge der deutschen und japanischen Juristen. Dabei geht es unter anderem um Gesetzesauslegung und Rechtsfortbildung sowie Rechtsfindung im Straf- und Leasingrecht. Auch Methodenfragen und die japanische Verfassungsrechtsdogmatik werden behandelt. Alle Vorträge finden im Europainstitut (Geb. B2 1, Raum 102) statt.

Zudem wird den Jura-Professoren aus Japan und Deutschland ein interessantes Rahmenprogramm geboten. So fahren sie am Montag zum Europäischen Gerichtshof nach Luxemburg. Am Dienstag wird der saarländische Minister für Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft, Joachim Rippel, die Professoren empfangen. Die japanischen und deutschen Wissenschaftler nehmen außerdem an der Weihnachtsfeier des Rotary Clubs Saarbrücken St. Johann teil und essen mit dem Vorstand der deutsch-japanischen Gesellschaft in Saarbrücken zu Abend.
