Die optische Spektroskopie des Lichtes von astronomischen Objekten wird bereits seit Jahrhunderten verwendet, um das Geheimnis der Objekte im Universum zu entschlüsseln. Der Vortrag erklärt allgemeinverständlich die Aufnahme und Auswertung von optischen Spektren. Danach gibt es eine Führung durch das Institut und bei klarem Himmel eine Himmelsbeobachtung mit dem 70cm-Spiegelteleskop.

Die Veranstaltung ist offen für Jedermann. Der Eintritt ist frei. Parkplätze auf dem Gelände sind vorhanden.
