Parallel zur Messe 'Laser Optics Berlin' werden sich Optik- und Photonik-Spezialisten aus ganz Deutschland und Europa im Berliner Heinrich-Hertz-Institut über die neusten Entwicklungen in einem dynamischen und für den Standort Deutschland wegweisenden Forschungsfeld austauschen.
Im Kontext der in den letzten Jahren rasant verlaufenden Entwicklung photonischer Technologien sind die Aktivitäten der ITG-Fachgruppe insbesondere auf die Integration optischer Komponenten und Module in der Medizintechnik und der Hochgeschwindigkeits-Datenübertragung ausgerichtet, wobei der diesjährige Workshop auch im Zeichen der automatisierten Fertigung stehen wird.
Der Workshop wird in Zusammenarbeit mit der Laser Optics Berlin von der ITG Fachgruppe 5.3.2 "Photonische Aufbau- und Verbindungstechnik" veranstaltet und findet während der Laser Optics Berlin statt.
