Vor dem Hintergrund einer Kurzdarstellung der Geschichtsphilosophie von Karl Marx soll die Frage behandelt werden, wie das Selbstverständnis der marxistischen Kapitalismuskritik zu deuten ist. Dabei wird vor allem Marxens These vom Fetischcharakter der Ware und dem Geheimnis dieses Charakters eingehender diskutiert. Worin besteht der Fetischcharakter der Ware? Und was ist sein Geheimnis?
Marco Iorio (*1965 in Dettingen/Erms) ist Hochschuldozent für Philosophie an der Universität Bielefeld. Zu seinen Forschungsschwerpunkten zählen unter anderem Handlungstheorie, politische Philosophie sowie Theorie und Geschichte von Marxismus und Sozialismus. Derzeit ist Dr. Iorio Fellow am Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg und forscht zum Thema "Reason, Reasons, Rules and Social Reality".
