Die Fachbereiche Wirtschaft Rheinbach und Sozialversicherung der Fachhochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg veranstalten im Januar ein Forschungskolloquium über "Evaluation und Politikberatung". Die Besonderheit der zweitägigen Veranstaltung sieht Professor Dr. Oded Löwenbein, Dekan des Fachbereichs Wirtschaft Rheinbach, darin, dass Evaluatoren und Politiker hier gemeinsam teilnehmen und miteinander über das Thema sprechen.
Neben Thomas Steg wird unter anderem Hilmar Schneider (Institut "Zukunft der Arbeit", IZA) referieren.
