Objectives
The purpose of the conference is to inform about:
new technologies in tool manufacturing and tool design in the field of tool materials such as HSS and PM HSS produced by powder metallurgy, surface preparation, coatings, heat treatment, grinding,etc.
advances and future prospects in tool use, in specific end user industries or for new generations of alloys to be machined such as titanium alloys.
The conference scope includes machining technologies such as drilling, tapping, reaming, milling, gear cutting, broaching, sawing and other metal cutting operations.
Key international specialists from major tool users, universities and suppliers to the tool industry will provide their view of the present and future prospects in the field of metalworking.
