Unter der Federführung von Professor Fritz J. Neff, Hochschule Karlsruhe - Technik und Wirtschaft, und gemeinsam mit Kollegen der Universität Karlsruhe und des Forschungszentrums Karlsruhe veranstaltet die Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH den Workshop vom 4. bis 5. Mai 2009 im Kongresszentrum Karlsruhe. Das Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum wird am 4. Mai im Rahmen des Workshops einen Vortrag zum Thema "Netzwerke ermöglichen Innovation" halten.
Der Mechatronik Tage-Workshop hat zum Ziel, den Entwicklungsstand neuester Technologien zu vermitteln, die Kosten- und Prozessoptimierung in der Produktion durch neue Technologien aufzuzeigen und im fachlichen Austausch neue Kooperationsmöglichkeiten zu finden. Der Mechatronik Tage-Workshop richtet sich an Vertreter aus Industrie und Handwerk sowie aus Hochschule und Forschung, die mechatronische Systeme entwickeln, weiterentwickeln bzw. einsetzen, um Produktionsabläufe zu optimieren, Kosten zu senken und für mehr Komfort in Betriebsprozessen zu sorgen.
