For international retailer companies the growth markets China and Russia belong to the most attractive countries worldwide. The rising purchasing power of Chinese and Russian consumers possesses a huge potential for producers and traders. But they have to compete with strong local companies as well as other international retailers. To be able to operate successfully in these markets, western retailers must succeed in developing a distinctive image. Do promising private label strategies offer a possibility for accomplishing this aim? What challenges and perspectives do western retailers face by introducing their private labels in China and Russia? And what chances and risks await the manufacturers? In two keynote speeches scientists will take a closer look on these issues. Afterwards we would like to discuss the topic with you, the experts from science and representatives from practise, who have an excellent knowledge of these markets.

You can use brackets to separate combinations from each other, e.g. (Philo not logy) or (Psycho and logy).
Coherent groups of words will be located as complete phrases if you put them into quotation marks, e.g. “Federal Republic of Germany”.
You can also use the advanced search without entering search terms. It will then follow the criteria you have selected (e.g. country or subject area).
If you have not selected any criteria in a given category, the entire category will be searched (e.g. all subject areas or all countries).
