Heute stellen die produkt- und prozessbezogene Wissensentwicklung und der Wissenstransfer ein zentrales Element für die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit von Unternehmen dar. Insbesondere in entwicklungsintensiven Branchen wie der Medizintechnik ist der Umgang mit der Ressource Wissen von großer Bedeutung, um das vorhandene Innovationspotenzial auszuschöpfen. Im Rahmen des vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie geförderten Verbundprojekts Wiki-Med wurden innovative Anwendungslösungen für das Wissensmanagement in der Medizintechnik konzipiert und entwickelt.
