Vortragende sind Wissenschaftler der vier Sonderforschungsbereiche der Mikrotechnik (SFB 440, SFB 499, SFB 516 und SFB 747) sowie Anwender aus der Industrie. Schwerpunkte sind hierbei u.a. Prozessentwicklung,
Werkstoffentwicklung und -charakterisierung, Qualitätssicherung, Mess-,
Regelungs- und Prüftechnik, sowie das Fügen, die Montage und die Handhabung von Mikrobauteilen. Gastgeber ist der Sonderforschungsbereich 747 "Mikrokaltumformen" der Universität Bremen unter der Leitung von Sprecher Prof. F. Vollertsen.
