Nach den Laudationes zu den preisgekrönten Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten und der Verleihung der Urkunden wird der technische Direktor der Firma asphericon GmbH, Herr Sven R. Kiontke, den Festvortrag zum Thema "asphericon meets sciences" halten.
Der Preis für die beste Masterarbeit wurde von der Sparkasse Jena-Saale-Holzland und der Preis für die beste Bachelorarbeit von der Fa. asphericon GmbH (Jena ) gestiftet. Die Auswahl erfolgte durch eine vom Fachbereichsrat benannte Jury.
