In der Akademischen Orgelstunde bieten Studierende des Instituts Kostproben ihres Könnens. Auf dem Programm steht Musik von Bach, Buxtehude und Max Reger. Daneben werden zwei Kompositionen uraufgeführt, die Studierende selbst geschrieben haben: "Auguri" von Ina Altripp (Prof. Dr. Matthias Schneider gewidmet und vom Widmungsträger selbst gespielt) und eine Passacaglia von Georg Wagner, die dieser selbst interpretieren wird.
