Rüdiger Pohlmann, Leiter der Seekabelendstelle Sylt berichtet über die Anfänge der Transatlantikkabel im 19. Jahrhundert bis zu den aktuellen Projekten.
Wie funktioniert der Betrieb dieser Kabel, wie erfolgt die Verlegung und Wartung und was passiert, wenn ein Kabel zerrissen wird.
Welche Tendenzen gibt es für die Zukunft.
In der sich anschließende Diskussion haben wir mit Rüdiger Pohlmann dazu einen kompetenten Experten in die HfTL eingeladen.
