Karen E. Johnson ist seit 2007 Generalkonsulin der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika in Hamburg. Zuvor war sie für das Verteidigungsministerium in Stuttgart und Heidelberg im Dienst. Vor ihrer Amtsübernahme in Hamburg lenkte sie als Direktorin die regionalen Wiederaufbauteams der US-Botschaft in Kabul, wo sie die Beteiligung des Außenministeriums beim Wiederaufbau Afghanistans koordinierte.
Der Vortrag wird in englischer Sprache stattfinden.
