Warum sind Menschen gewalttätig? Die Bereitschaft zu aggressivem Verhalten bis hin zum Töten gehört zum menschlichen Zusammenleben seit Jahrmillionen. Während Gewalt in den zahlreichen Krisenregionen der Welt oft kaum noch wahrgenommen wird, werfen Gewalttaten in der eigenen gesellschaftlichen Mitte – etwa Amokläufe von Schülern oder Überfälle auf Obdachlose – immer wieder Fragen nach den Gründen auf.
Prof. Dr. Thomas Elbert von der Universität Konstanz geht in seinem Vortrag der Frage nach, auf welche Weise Menschen zu Gewaltbereitschaft geprägt werden.
Die Veranstaltung beginnt am Dienstag, 26. Oktober 2010, um 19:30 Uhr in der Urania in Berlin.
